компания "mercury development" mercury development is looking to hire a data engineer with strong knowledge in python! our company specializes in developing custom software for large startups. we employ over 400 highly qualified and skilled specialists working on dozens of interesting projects. our apps are used by 40 million people all over the world! our products have been featured on app store and google play and covered by techcrunch, engadget, and gizmodo. our sales offices are located in new york, miami, and atlanta, and we have development centers in russia, serbia, armenia, and kazakhstan. come and join us in building the future! responsibilities: develop fault-tolerant pipelines that transform large diverse datasets into accessible data models in production. design and implement frameworks for deploying machine learning models to production. enable tools and automation that encourage a self-service big data environment work with data scientists and other data consumers to understand and solve for process gaps. improve and maintain the data infrastructure, including usage of tools for etl, job scheduling, dependency management, ml operations, etc. required skills: 5+ years experience in a high performing data engineering environment. familiarity with cloud environments/tools, particularly aws. excellent coding skills (python, sql). experience in developing and deploying data infrastructure (messaging, storage, compute/transform, execution via containers, and/or ci/cd pipelines across dev/stage/prod environments) in the cloud. experience with schema design and dimensional data modeling. highly developed problem solving with ability to take a complex, amorphous requirements and break them down into solvable components. demonstrated ability to work independently, prototype rapidly, and meet deadlines. strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively explain, influence, and advise with interdisciplinary partners. english c1. extra credit: familiarity with go and/or kotlin. what we offer: competitive salary dependent on qualification and experience. social benefits package. friendly and experienced colleagues, supportive and caring management. remote or office-based work. currently we have comfortable and conveniently located offices in russia, serbia, armenia, and kazakhstan. reimbursement for professional development courses and english courses. flexible hours, provided that you work happily and productively 40 hours a week all equipment will be provided.
