Job Description We are looking for a General Director to manage our Russian subsidiary, and the drive the development of new international trade business activities. The key areas of business interest include new trade routes into China for Russian resources and other materials, while also helping expand the reach of Chinese manufactured goods into Russia. Responsibilities next to corporate management will include discovering and pursuing new strategic trade prospects, negotiating deals and liaising within the group to optimize and grow the trade potential. Ultimately, you’ll help us meet and surpass business expectations and contribute to rapid and sustainable growth of new trade opportunities. Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day business of the Company to the extent set forth in the Company’s Charter, the resolutions of the Sole Participant of the Company and Group leadership: cooperate with Group shareholders and representatives as well as Members of the Board, and procure the implementation of the resolutions of the shareholders; develop and procure the implementation of Company’s strategy, business plans, budgets; exercise control of rational use of material, labour and financial resources of the Company; ensure the legal protection of the Company’s interests; arrange for and supervise the accounting and reporting obligations of the Company; ensure recruitment, training and development of the Company’s staff; organize the efficient operations of structural divisions of the Company; observe the rules and regulations set out in the Company’s internal regulations; not disclose confidential information of the Company; maintain relations with executive authorities, heads of organizations, entities and companies in connection with operational issues of the Company arising out of its charter; inform the participants about the results of Company’s business activities and its financial performance; perform other duties within the Employee’s scope of authority. Develop a strategic plan for growth in the Russian market, including to actively seek out new trade opportunities Oversee management and financial reporting on business activity Maximize synergies between Group entities in China and potential trade opportunities into and out of Russia. Requirements and skills Proven experience of 15 years as a General Director, with a background in Russian-Chinese cross border trade Proficiency in English is required, with Chinese skills of strong advantage Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques Fast learner and passion for sales Self-motivated with a results-driven approach Excellent team management and motivational skills Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, economics or similar
