Deputy Director Fixed Plant Maintenance and Power Generation at Gold processing

компания "nordgold" we are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented deputy director fixed plant maintenance (fpm) and power generation (pg) to join the gold processing team. in this position, you will play a key role in the overall success of our organization by setting strategy, planning, managing, and monitoring fpm and pg functions. reporting to the director processing (gold processing) the deputy director fpm and pg will set maintenance strategy, provide thought leadership and technical assistance to the group processing and power generating facilities and projects. responsibilities: develop, implement and regularly reviewing of the fpm and pg organisational structures, including decisions around key priorities, organisational design for each discipline, job descriptions, and management of performance and talent management; daily monitoring of group asset performance; provide governance, quality assurance and set standards and norms for fixed maintenance and capital; ensure that each operation have a capital forecast in line with the strategic and business plans (sbp & bp); define operating processes for fpm and pg including meeting schedules and reporting requirements; identification of projects, forecasting of fpm and pg spend for the group; facilitate group fpm, ei&c and pg tex (technical excellence) projects in the group; spearhead various research and development initiatives to identify opportunities for new projects and improved processes; communicate and collaborate with other managers, suppliers, and contractors; prepare and deliver various engineering-related presentations, both internally and externally. requirements: hold a formal qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering with 10 years experience in fpm or pg with at least 5 of these at a group level in mining processing industry (gold or similar processing technology like processing of zinc, iron, copper, uranium, alumina); comprehensive knowledge of and practical experience in the management of the fpm and pg functions in the mineral processing industry preferably with strong knowledge of processing equipment; have well developed maintenance planning skills, experience of sap will be highly advantageous; be an assertive goal-orientated self-starter with good interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to pay attention to detail; analytical and mathematical mind, capable of evaluating and solving various complex problems; interpersonal communication skills with expertise in distilling complicated topics to a broader audience; excellent verbal and written communication skills in russian; written and verbal skills in english will be highly advantageous but not a requirement; leadership skills necessary to manage and develop a team; organizational competencies and project management skills to keep projects, processes, and the entire fpm and pg teams on track; have excellent computing skills in relevant technical software; willing to conduct frequent business travel as required. we offer: office based work in hq nordgold llc, moscow; working schedule 5/2; competitive package of salary, benefits and annual bonus scheme; working in multicultural environment – nordgold assets located in cis, west africa, north and south america; continuous development within the company; social package: medical insurance, benefits program.
