Overview: German company Chirp Wireless is developing a decentralised, global IoT network, integrating LoRa, BLE, WiFi, ZigBee and blockchain technologies. We have an exciting opportunity for a full time IoT Test Engineer to work with Project team working on cutting edge technologies and futuristic projects along with programmers, IoT engineers, marketing specialists, leadership team and clients. Note: the work is fully remote. Responsibilities: - Develop firmware and packages in C and Rust for various IoT devices - Document software architecture & software design - Develop unit tests - Develop and run integration tests for embedded software and hardware - Debug existing software Requirements and skills - Proven working experience in software engineering - BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering - Knowledge of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces and hardware subsystems - Experience with LoRa, LoRaWAN and Bluetooth - Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets - Solid programming experience in C & Rust - Knowledge of reading schematics and data sheets for components - Knowledge of sensors/IoT connectivity, IoT platforms - Spoken English What will be your advantage: - Experience with designing hardware, e.g. PCB design - Experience with Telecommunications software
