компания "brunel russia" resposnisbilities: acts in the capacity of water network department head in the absence of the incumbent. performs design of hydraulic systems and ensures that all the hydraulic components will work as per the expected purpose. calibrates the models according to the information provided by online sensors or manually collected information. implements the sectorization: installation of valves, pressure regulators, flowmeters, tests. management of the leak detection team, identification of priority areas for leak detection. coordinates with the client the renewal and installation of water supply pipes and valves in the city of tashkent. coordinates the commissioning of installation and renewal of pipes with the master plan experts and the client. advises on preventive maintenance and repair of the water supply network (leaks repair, pressure management, valves’ operation, network inspections), operation of water network operation and its maintenance, leak detection and repairs, operation of reservoir and pumping stations. advises on proper and timely implementation of inspection, testing, and maintenance of the water quality and sampling programs, maintenance of water wells and pumping stations and equipment including pumps, air compressors, disinfection equipment, emergency systems, pipe systems and water reservoirs. maintains records of water quality, usage, treatment, and production; prepares reports required by the client and the hierarchy. regularly evaluates the efficiency of business procedures and policies according to organizational objectives and suggests improvements. ensures that effective internal controls are in place and ensures compliance with all governmental administrative requirements as well as applicable international and local regulatory laws; the job description is not exhaustive and may assume additional tasks within the competence of the incumbent. requirements: bachelorchr(39)s degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering or equivivalent. eight (8) years engineering experience in water infrastructure projects and/or water supply projects and five (5) years of experience in hydraulic modeling, field calibration, dma formation, and nrw reduction. practical knowledge of equipment, materials, methods, and practices used in managing water distribution system. proficient in hydraulic modeling. deep knowledge of operational characteristics of water distribution systems methods. can read and interpret water distribution maps and drawing. knowledge of the functions and servicing requirements of water plant machinery and the process involved in the treatment and pumping of water. knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of electronic computers and instrumentation and the role they perform in water production, treatment, and distribution. knowledge of occupational hazards and health and safety regulations. excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interface with clients, contractors and regulatory agencies is critical. excellent technical writing skills for use in development of engineering reports and studies ability to read and interpret engineering specifications and drawings. ability to perform, analyze, and interpret laboratory tests for the purpose of making operational adjustments. knowledge of and ability to apply principles of sound management and budget. problem solving and decision-making skills. strong organizational and planning skills. time management and strong ability to meet deadlines. ability to organize, direct, and coordinate the activities of a complex operation.
