компания "arrival ltd" supplier quality assurance engineer has the responsibility to assess suppliers, manage the new product introduction quality requirements, support the product teams to develop a manufacturable product, parts approval and monitor the supply chain to meet arrival requirements, and improve the quality management system on the supplier side. this role challenges the automotive industrychr(39)s quality tools and methodologies, as well as relationships with suppliers and product teams to secure effective supplied quality management at the different stages of product development. although it focuses mainly on ready-to-commercialised products, sqe should be in touch with the product team as well to be ready for commercialisation. as a successful sqa engineer, you should have prior experience in the field of supply quality management and improvement, preferably in the automotive sector and proficiency in project management. responsibilities: manage suppliers within a commodity-specific environment using apqp methodologies to ensure a robust new product introduction through to ppap sign off excellent knowledge of ppap elements and the documentation or activities required to fulfil each element. ensure arrivalchr(39)s business practices and requirements are implemented within the supply chain. including supplier quality, new product quality, traceability, material compliance lead suppliers regarding arrivals business requirements from the design for manufacture discussion through part delivery and into series production, whilst maintaining a professional and efficient relationship. comfortable liaising with all levels within internal global functions such as procurement, program engineering, product teams, programme management and finance teams. support global commodity leads with supplier sourcing decisions by auditing and validating a potential supplierchr(39)s business process using special quality assessment. lead the end-to-end supplier quality function within a commodity environment to ensure parts are delivered on time, at the required rate as well as to the required quality standard, as defined by the current build phases ensures the implementation of supplier quality processes and systems within arrival. root cause analysis using 8d methodologies. supplier management using kpi-driven data to ensure continuous experience with the supply chain manages and reports the quality risk assessments for the portfolio of products managed. manages the changes at the supplier side according to requirements provides support to the supplier in frames of quality management system development and product teams in frames of design improvement based on manufacturer feedback, lessons learnt and previous experience
