Product Engineer/Technical product Representative

компания "аккурайд уилз руссиа" basic purpose: this position has the following responsibilities: coordinate & manage programs that involve the design, test, analysis, and development of new products and related modifications in the plants togliatti + zainsk. ensure that the products meet or exceed all applicable accuride europe & asia, government, industry, and customer standards together with headquarter r&d in solingen. impact areas include product and market strategies (ear for the russian market and needs), product and process development, technical customer support in russia; participation in relevant local technical and standardization organizations. responsibility: manage product engineering programs with support from headquarter r&d in togliatti + zainsk. follow & coordinate r&d projects to meet customer requirements by planning, organizing, and scheduling project activities, securing prototypes from internal or external sources, scheduling and coordinating testing of products with test lab, customers and fleets, securing approval of new product designs or modifications, and providing technical assistance to manufacturing groups, customers, and sales personnel. maintain customer relationships by presenting new product designs or product redesigns as requested by customers, preparing project status reports, presenting proposed designs or redesigns to customers for approval and coordinating prototype builds. these activities are done in alignment n with the project managers and r&d leads in the headquarter. manage inside the plants togliatti & zainsk new r&d projects or design modifications to satisfy customer demands. coordinate the production of prototypes, related measurements, analyses and tests. ensure that product designs are externally validated conform to russian official and customer standards. lead all efforts with the manufacturing locations to launch a new product within a facility per customer’s quality standards. prepare and maintain all documentation on new products to comply with our commercialization process and iatf 16949 requirements. requirements: bs degree in engineering, ms degree preferred thorough understanding of engineering principles and theories, product testing procedures, and manufacturing processes. working knowledge of metal working techniques. good analytical skills, a basic knowledge of finite element analysis, fatigue, and life predictions. experience with computer aided design (cad) software and computer aided engineering (cae) software. strong ability to plan at both strategic and operational levels. strong project management skills to manage and coordinate extensive internal and external project resources. working knowledge of wheel end components and systems, their uses and applications in the market and manufacturing processes. thorough understanding of lean manufacturing principles and applications. proficiency with microsoft applications, e.g. word, excel, powerpoint, project, outlook, access, etc. good interpersonal skills are required when dealing with internal and external customers. minimum bi-lingual: proficient written and spoken english and russian. conditions: work in international company employment in line with labour legislation of russian federation medical insurance
