"Cleverence" is a Russian company that develops mobile accounting systems for barcodes and radio frequency tags, operating in the markets of Russia and the CIS. For more than 18 years we have been creating programs for solving business problems in retail and wholesale trade, manufacturing organizations, oil companies, as well as in the public sector. We provide tools for solving tasks of automation of mobile employees in production, warehouse or in a store. This role involves managing the integrations of mobile software with hardware devices such as portable data terminals (PDTs), printers, scanners, both barcode and RFID, etc. The responsibilities of a Hardware Integration Manager include: Collaborating with hardware vendors to integrate their devices with software Developing and maintaining integrations between mobile software and hardware devices Testing hardware integrations to ensure they are functioning properly Troubleshooting and debugging any issues that arise during the integration process Updating and maintaining documentation for hardware integrations, the poor examples can be found here Working with the development team to ensure that hardware integrations are integrated smoothly into the overall software architecture To be successful in this role, a manager in charge of mobile hardware integration should have strong leadership skills, as well as a deep understanding of mobile software development and hardware integration. They should also be able to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and clients, and have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Knowledge of Zebra, Honeywell, UROVO and Datalogic hardware is a plus! In this role, the manager would be responsible for setting goals and priorities for the team, providing guidance and support to team members, and ensuring that the team is meeting project deadlines and goals. They may also be responsible for managing budgets, resources, and schedules for hardware integration projects, as well as communicating with stakeholders and clients to keep them informed of progress and any issues that arise.
