SWISSAM International University is inviting F&B Lecturer JOB DUTIES: Planning, organizing and implementing the F&B related courses: F&B service, F&B management, F&B facilities management, food costing&control, concept development & menu development Teaching of assigned program in English using materials, presentation, course book, case studies provided by SWISSAM Use appropriate teaching, learning support and assessment methods. Supervise student projects, and/or e.g. field trips and, where appropriate, placements. Contribute to the planning, design and development of objectives and material. Set, mark and assess work and examinations and provide feedback to students. Applying professional knowledge and industry networking to advise the School on delivering assigned classes Attend faculty meetings as required Assist Students on developing exam projects Check written tests Hold examinations (mid-term assignment, final exam) Supporting colleagues on their projects with professional advise REQUIRED: Working experience in F&B area in international company Possess sufficient breadth or depth of specialist knowledge in the discipline to develop teaching programmes and the provision of learning support. English – upper-intermediate level PREFERRED: Teaching experience Skills & Abilities Professional appearance Solid communication skills both written and verbal A good level of knowledge relevant to the subject and professional area Evidence of undertaking continuous professional development (CPD) Ability to design teaching and learning material Ability to plan workloads and projects and manage resources effectively Ability to develop productive working relationships as part of a professional team Ability to work collaboratively on research projects through the development of appropriate partnerships Ability to employ appropriate assessment methods Ability to support the development of research objectives, projects or proposals Ability to employ appropriate methods for disseminating research findings Ability to take responsibility for a number of key areas such as module tutor, research supervision at undergraduate level.
