компания "brunel atyrau llp" international oil&gas company looking for: job title: instrument and control systems engineer reports to: lead engineer job location: aktau office job responsibilities: the instrument and control systems engineer works on a variety of concurrent projects ranging from facility modification proposals to major capital projects, supports other departments such as operations and integrity, reliability & maintenance and gives input to the continued effort of the development of local standards and guidelines. this includes but is not limited to: giving input to scope for instrumentation and control system deliverables at each stage of the project and is responsible for reporting issues in respect of technical and quality of the same to line manager. reviewing the overall design activities to comply with local affiliate company guidelines, rok standards and corporate company standards. reviewing contractor manhour estimates for various work scopes related to the instrument and control systems discipline. monitoring contractor performance, assuring the application of all the relevant hseq and qa procedures is adhered to. reports discrepancies to line manager. liaising with other company departments to ensure free flow of information and delivery of designs that meet project requirements. providing technical support as required. selection of the best technical / economical instrumentation and control solutions on company facilities. ensuring that all elements in the project, design, installation methods, etc. comply with safety, legal, and company procedures. technical evaluation of bids for instrumentation and control equipment and services. coordinating with other disciplines to avoid clashes and optimize installation work from safety, commercial and planning points of view. closely following contractor engineers, craftsmen, etc. to ensure deliveries are to the highest technical and commercial standard, and the agreed scope. reviewing and correcting any deviations to the scope of work, both technically and schedule, suggesting corrective actions when and where required. providing input for control systems definition of upgrades, extensions and new builds. assisting construction and commissioning activities as required, including site support work, intervention into scada and/or plc systems and supervision of contractors. complies with corporate policy in respect of cyber security related to industrial technology machines, networks and associated devices. reviewing compliance of emergency shutdown and fire & gas systems to corporate guidelines and reporting discrepancies to line manager. reviewing the quality and consistency of the project instrumentation package engineering activities, such that completion is according to project requirements and raising any discrepancies to line manager. assuring the application to project of all the relevant norms, local rules, company standards and international best practices on accident prevention and human protection, environmental impact reduction and energy efficiency. qualification requirements: higher professional education. experience in international oil companies no less than 5 years. written and spoken english is a requirement. familiar with software programs, including word, excel, powerpoint, autocad, access, outlook, etc. proven organizational skills and the ability to work in a service function.
