компания "ey uzbekistan" clean energy and ghg analytic expert / advanced staff -staff level ey is looking for a specialist for the position of clean energy and ghg analytic expert / advanced staff-staff level to climate change and sustainability services (ccass) department in uzbekistan. our clients operate in a world were achieving and maintaining performance while mitigating the environmental impact and ensuring sustainable development are more difficult than ever. as a consulting professional, you’ll be focused on helping them to improve and adopt best industry practices. you’ll work with high-performing teams that drive growth and deliver exceptional client service, ensuring you play your part in building a better working world. the opportunity we invite you to become a part of dynamically developing ccass team in our tashkent office. a wide spectrum of professional services enables new employees to gain valuable and versatile experience and to choose independently in the future priority directions for development. by becoming part of ey you will be given interesting and promising work, dynamic career growth, training and professional development in a major international company that is the leader in its field. you will work with the project team with three to five consultants taking responsibility for the particular stream or aspect of the project. by performing interview with the client’s experts, desk research, industry benchmarking and analysis of the relevant information you will support the team with recommendations on processes transformation, business improvement and low carbon practices implementation. key responsibilities analysis of the reference cases and development of the solutions in the field of clean energy and energy efficiency adaptation of the energy management reference approach, develop the relevant metrics and kpis ghg emissions accounting, structuring and analysis at the company level (including scope 1, 2, 3 calculation and analysis) industry energy and ghg performance benchmarking and identification of the strategic areas to optimize operational portfolio analysis of carbon regulation policies and its impact onto the resource intensive businesses value chain development of the decarbonization and/or energy efficiency improvement measures, presentation and agreement on the effect with the company’s decision makers skills and attributes for success: strong analytical, decision-making, interpersonal and communication abilities basic knowledge of power and utilities, oil and gas, metals and mining industries value chain experienced in projects related to energy efficiency in buildings, industrial processes, energy and heat supplying, renewable sources etc. an innovative mindset coupled with strong work initiative and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas skilled pc user, knowledge and practical skills of working with ms excel is required fluent in russian, english – upper intermediate level, uzbek language is a plus. to qualify for the role, you must have: 2+ years of professional experience related to energy efficiency, environmental and ghg related analysis and reporting preferably in metals & mining or oil & gas sectors of economy degree in energy management, system analysis, physics, energy and power engineering, environmental science, with a demonstrated aptitude in industry applications ability to develop multiple equal solutions to solve the same problem in different manner be ready to travel incl. international trips and working on-site, to meet client needs. ideally, you’ll also have: experience of working for the company of one of the mentioned sectors and good understanding of the relevant business processes is a major plus. industry main value chain related insights, clear understanding of the cases realized, and specifics of the climate change related actions performed by the companies. familiarity with a storytelling and development of power point storylines for presenting at top-management or board committee level. who are climate change and sustainability services?
