компания "ланит" we are seeking a senior java software engineer responsible for the design, implementation and testing of java based technologies, for a microservice and event driven architecture, which will stream iot data via an event bus that includes kafka, for event driven communication, and grpc for point-to-point connections, based on functional and non-functional requirements, in adherence to our software development standards and best practices. responsibilities: translate business requirements into technical requirements, using jira. experience creating design diagrams using uml (or similar) such as: architecture diagrams, deployment diagrams, data flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, activity diagrams, database schemas, etc. actively participate in agile meetings assisting in the grooming, scoping and sizing of user stories design, develop, and provide ongoing maintenance of java application and associated api’s participate in defect analysis and recommend coding changes to correct issues debug and step through code and identify issues and problems craft unit and integration tests develop code according to internal published coding standards write easily understandable, testable, scalable and efficient code provide testing support to other development team members maintain and updаtеcode documentation validate designs against written specifications contribute to maintaining release of code and code management provide informative updates and consistent feedback to project team and supervisor regarding status mentor and support mid level and junior level developers. required skills: 5+ years developing web based applications leveraging cloud services 10+ years java programming experience, including using jdk 11 and higher recent hands-on experience, at least 3 years, working with microservice oriented architectures and/or event driven architectures strong understanding of synchronous and asynchronous communication recent hands-on experience with rest and kafka recent hands-on experience working with other messaging technologies such as jms, activemq, rabbitmq, etc. recent hands-on experience, at least 3 years, implementing unit tests and reaching at least 70% code coverage. strong understanding of owasp vulnerabilities and how to prevent them. strong analytical and problem solving skills, able to solve complex problems with efficient solutions. strong understanding about the differences between soap and rest services. strong understanding of java concurrency concepts and ability to write and debug thread safe code strong experience with code branching and merging strategies using github. strong experience participating in pair-programming sessions with other senior, mid level and junior developers. advanced knowledge working with modern ides such as intellij and able to leverage an interactive debugger to diagnose issues advanced knowledge using java web server technologies and servlet containers such as jetty advanced knowledge of spring framework (di), spring boot, spring web and spring security advanced knowledge designing restful apis that include swagger documentation and open api specifications advanced knowledge leveraging jdbc connectivity and experience with database abstraction layers such as jooq, hibernate, or jpa advanced working knowledge of relational databases (such as mysql, postgres, or h2) and ability to write and optimize sql queries proven experience working with various network, web and application based protocols experience working in an agile development model. strong english language skills what we offer: work in professional international team modern working conditions with very dynamic career opportunities english lessons and other training opportunities attractive compensation package 100% remote working. work on your terms from anywhere. great team of like minded individuals who have a passion for clean code autonomy to build technical solutions without micro-management flexible hours. we communicate asynchronously via slack we keep mandatory meetings to a minimum
