DSP Researcher Scientist, to Armenia( SCHNEIDER GROUP )

(relocate) the dsp engineer is a role of great impact and significance. the individual is expected to have solid knowledge in digital signal processing and extensive hands-on experience in programming digital and/or image processing algorithms, including parallel environments – gpus, multithreading and multiprocessing. the successful candidate will work with a broader team of scientists, and engineers while taking ownership in practical aspects of dsp/isp to drive projects to defined conclusions. what you will do design technologies that measurably deliver breakthrough experiences and work with the broader team to build proof-of-concept/ demonstration systems make practical dsp/isp-related research and implementation in for human state detection systems screen, scout and evaluate the technology market and trends able to make the appropriate trade-offs to enable productization of technologies at scale write reports, white papers, conference publications and patents transfer new technologies to commercialization teams what we are looking for minimum of master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics or related discipline: physics, computer science, electrical engineering etc. plus five years of relevant industry experience. (phd with 2 years’ experience preferred). 10+ in research industry knowledgeable in one or more of the following: digital signal processing, physics, computer vision, biosignals, radar and sensor technologies, radiophysics (must have) a strong technical advocate with a background in c++ experience in designing fine- and coarse-granular parallel algorithms with use of cuda, openmp, mpi and similar frameworks (must have) knowledge of the main methods of signal processing: time analysis, spectral analysis, non-linear analysis, information theory (must have) understanding the physics of processes: image formation, color formation, voltage and potential formation, sensing physics, radar, sound designed and evaluated approaches for handling high-volume real-time data streams experience in data statistics focusing on machine learning algorithms, digital signal processing and sensors experience in solving complex scientific and technical problems related to setting up experiments, theoretical research, modeling, solving direct and inverse problems of physics technology network in sensor, software/algorithmic start-ups, and academia fluent english (russian is a plus) demonstrate high levels of technical expertise, ingenuity, and creativity. you will be required to develop and apply advanced technologies, engineering principles, theories, and concepts, and have broad knowledge about the design and operation of systems outside of your specialty. would be an advantage experience in data collection for driver monitoring systems familiar with python and libraries fro ml experience working on research in a commercial environment theoretical and practical understanding of data science and artificial intelligence experience with machine learning techniques and some familiarity with tensorflow, pytorch or similar. what we offer impact on future technology development relocation to armenia (yerevan) relocation package extensive training opportunities through our own university competitive wellness benefits tuition reimbursement an inclusive and diverse work environment that fosters and encourages professional and personal development
