Logistic / procurement manager

Description: The Logistic/Procurement Manager (preferably with experience in sport / tourism / expedition industry) responsible for the selection, procurement and inventory of expedition equipment / clothes, passengers’ supplies onboard Company’s fleet of marine based expedition vessels. The Logistic/Procurement Manager will work closely with both office-based and field-based teams to ensure all vessels and field staff are equipped with all necessary gear/supplies and operational knowledge to safely deliver outstanding experiences to our guests. What you will be doing:• Responsible for the inventory, procurement and management of expedition equipment onboard our fleet of expedition ships, including electronics (radios, gps, scopes and binoculars), adventure program equipment (camping, kayak and paddle gear), firearms, shore gear, safety equipment, onboard activities and all other required tools and equipment required to successfully deliver an expedition program.• Plan seasonal inventory by vessel including scheduled transfers of equipment between ports, vessels and seasonal offloads and storage.• Key team member supporting expedition innovation planning and SOP development by providing operational expertise, equipment and safety perspective.• Communicate with key field team members including Logistics, Camping and Kayaking masers in advance of and during operating seasons to provide insight and product knowledge when required.• Responsible for the receiving, packing and shipping of seasonal shipments to expedition vessels• Provide support to the Expedition team.• Other duties as assigned.• In case of Emergency, you might be required to assist outside of regular work hours.
