Audit Assistant

компания "grant thornton" responsibilities: assists in the conduct of an audit engagement under supervision and may be responsible for undertaking small non-complex audits which will involve pre-audit scoping and preparation, identifying audit risks and performing preliminary evaluation of client’s internal control structure to identify weaknesses and areas for management consideration and improvement. participating in audit engagements and assisting senior auditors with duties, conducting audit work in the office and on-site client visits for field work, properly and accurately documenting audit work performed in working papers, participating in the preparation of audit reports and other reports, ability to meet the deadlines stipulated in the audit assignment planning memorandum, compliance with ethics and professional conduct requirements in accordance with the ethics and quality manual, reporting to the senior auditor regarding any deviations from the clientchr(39)s accounting policies and practices from national/international accounting standards, suggesting corrective actions to the lead auditor, studying local and international rules and guidelines and their impact on the audit process, as well as on the clientchr(39)s operations, performing other duties as assigned by the lead auditors requirements: university degree in finance/accounting or economics, excellent knowledge of ifrs and accounting principles excellent analytical and technical skills; excellent verbal and written communication and reporting skills; focused and detailed-oriented person; the excellent aptitude for teamwork; ability to work on business trips, ability to preserve deadlines; professional appearance and behavior; demonstrated proficiency with microsoft word and excel; fluency in russian and english. work experience would be an advantage, but is not a critical candidate evaluation
