Staffpick is looking for a talented QA Automation engineer to join a global and technology leader of Flame & Gas Optical Detectors and Automatic Fire Extinguishing Systems for armored vehicles, navy vessels and commercial applications like buses and off-road vehicles. Our systems combine expertise in algorithms, electro optics, communications, electronics, physics, mechanics and software. Responsibilities: Join a team that designs and implements software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment, including customers/manufacturing applications (hosts) Create detailed requirements and design specifications based on input from product requirements specifications, Develop, Code and Test system Review code and design Interface with hardware design and development Working in corporation with the software departments in Israel and abroad. Working with Office tools Job Requirements: Degree Computer Science/Software Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience. At least 2 years of C# / Java / Python experience Ability to translate software requirements into design specifications. Strong bug detection abilities and good analysis to root cause detection. Design a test plan for correctness, stress, and disaster recovery. Mainly Regression Tests for both products and GUI applications. Strong communication skills to convey information clearly and accurately Experience with testing frameworks and writing automation tests. Experience with SQL - an advantage Experience in work using scrum methodology - an advantage Familiarity with the IOT world - an advantage Creativity and teamwork Fluent in English
