Job Purpose: To assist in providing a learning environment that supports the developmental and educational needs of all children, under the overall direction of the Class Teacher. Job Responsibilities: Supporting children at age of 9-10 y.o. across the curriculum Giving extra help to children with special needs or those for whom English is not their first language Helping to develop programmes of learning activities and adapting appropriate materials Motivating and encouraging pupils Assisting with displays and lesson preparation Attending meetings and reviews Helping with school events, trips and activities Teaching classes on their own Covering planned absences Requirements: Bachelors/Masters Degree with qualification of English Teacher Work experience at a school not less than 2 years English language level: Advanced (C1) Willingness to develop and improve professional skills and knowledge through ongoing feedback and development Awareness of learning and developmental disorders a plus.
