Soluxe Hotel Moscow is looking for a passionate and guest-oriented FRONT OFFICE MANAGER who will manager all aspects of the front office areas which may include but is not limited to guest interaction and registration, business center and telephone services to ensure guest satisfaction and maximize hotel profitability and to adhere to all brand standards and desk merchandising. Our Front Office Manager will be responsible for: managing front office and business center (telephone operator) colleagues; monitoring Front Office colleagues to ensure guests receive prompt, cordial attention and personal recognition; monitoring Front Office colleagues to ensure Loyalty Program, known loyal guests and other VIP guests receive special attention and recognition; controlling the following the migration legislation of Russian Federation, controlling the availability of rooms, room types, accuracy of room count and rate categories; maximizing occupancy, revenue and average rate while maintaining high service standards; liaising with Housekeeping and Engineering colleagues to ensure room image is maintained; turning away guests if occupancies deem it necessary ensuring no good-will is lost; liaising closely with other departments to ensure special guest needs, amenities and other requests are met; liaising closely with Finance colleagues to ensure that financial procedures are properly carried out; maintaining inter-departmental relationships to ensure seamless customer service; inspecting frequently for cleanliness and orderliness, the public areas, reception, offices and, on a random basis, VIP rooms prior to arrival; assisting in the preparation of efficient work schedules for Front office colleagues, arranging holidays and vacations, taking into consideration project occupancy and forecasts and any large group movements; maintaining appropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, uniforms, appearance and posture of departmental colleagues. Our Front Office Manager has the following qualifications: well-developed communication skills which are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others and multicultural awareness; demonstrated ability to interact with customers, colleagues and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel; strong leadership, problem-solving, training and organizational skills; 2-year experience in front office on the positions of Front Office Manager, Deputy Front Office Manager, guest services or related discipline including supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; is energetic, initiative and reliable, focused on the details; is able to work under pressure in multitasking environment and meet the deadlines with a minimum supervision; is fully proficient in English and in the use of MS Office and PMS OPERA. Proficiency in Chinese will be a plus.
