компания "huawei" about the project the vision of huawei cloud game project is to build a cloud game platform with the best experience in the industry. cloud gaming is a cloud-computing-based approach: all games run on the server. the game image will be compressed and then transmitted to the terminal display over the network. on the client’s side device doesnchr(39)t require any high-end processors or graphics cards, just basic video-decoding capabilities. we are trying to provide high quality of the game image, low latency, installation-free and zero-waiting software. another direction of our team project is metaverse research work. we want to build our own metaverse with augmented and virtual reality, and now we are starting to explore this field. we have 4 research directions in our team: network optimization (transmission speed up, use of udp/tcp for maximum benefit) audio/video compression (optimization the codec algorithm, such as h.264, h.265 ) ai solution gpu virtualization (cpu or memory virtualization development and optimization, cuda use or optimization) what you will do: conduct independent research in all the fields related to computer vision and machine learning (image detection, segmentation, trajectory prediction, super resolution etc) spot and identify key technology development in the fields and write summary reports on regular bases research and implementing of a new neural networks architectures participation in neural networks training and testing complete poc on the most promising topics to confirm the business values of the new technology and help define the direction of the next project collaborate with a global research team qualifications: ms/ph.d. degree in computer science or related quantitative field deep knowledge of a classical ml algorithms good understanding of neural networks experience in cv libraries excellent programming skills in python strong communication and presentation skills. will be a bonus： experience in basic modeling in python or r. experience in statistics, business modeling, and quantitative analysis competition experience what we offer: competitive compensation work with cutting-edge technologies & challenging tasks in highly qualified international team opportunity to collaborate with world academic organizations, participate in top international conferences (we also conduct own meetups and conferences, and develop professional communities) possibility of selecting work schedule medical insurance modern comfortable office in the city center
