компания "schneider electric" the mission reporting directly to purchasing director russia in direct line, the purchasing specialist is responsible for sourcing equipment, goods and services and managing vendors. the successful candidate will be able to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend, search for better deals and find more profitable suppliers. working independently with no team to manage directly, he/she has however to demonstrate managerial maturity and good leadership for developing influence at executives’ level. main responsibilities purchasing of direct and indirect materials in applied commodities – main focus is direct procurement, opportunity of partial involvement into indirect procurement experience in projects related to localization of material & spare parts production in russia is needed experience work with chinese suppliers more than welcome experience in qualification of direct procurement suppliers is must - audit of purchasing process, sourcing etc negotiation and contracting of new or existing suppliers in line with the se strategy of the purchasing category define objectives, priorities and organize workload for the assigned areas. leading and coordination of all sourcing activities and drive lowest total cost of ownership understand internal stakeholder’s main objectives and time constraints. influence and get the best results by applying strategic sourcing best practices definition of purchasing strategies for assigned commodities. enrichment of objectives, goals and strategies, including all short, mid and long-term financial targets and any risk mitigation strategies identification and implementation of best business partnerships alignment and cooperation with internal customer (operations, central functions), close cooperation with finance department and other functions participation in tenders and auctions keeping kpi´s evaluation and development of suppliers creating budget & budget responsibility report to and actively collaborate with purchasing director russia and locally with pant directors and russian executives’ team main requirements higher education a good standard of spoken & written business english previous experience in a similar role establishing procurement function in the organization (min. 3 years) good experience in indirect categories proven record of creating and driving cost savings throughout the organization ability to handle number of different tasks, to prioritize identifies issues and resources to effectively resolve problems. strong experience in leading and managing cross functional teams in a collaborative work environment excellent communication skills, relationship building, adept at influencing various stakeholders at all levels. flexible, reactive and able to work in a dynamic environment we offer: we are offering an interesting job with a range of activities providing a high level of personal responsibility and broad prospects; competitive salary level and corporate employment benefits; official employment; hybrid work mode (office / home office).
