Purchasing specialist

Key duties: • Regional and overseas procurement– raw materials, equipment, instrumentation, spare parts, services, etc. PO placement, workflow tracking. Minimize the total cost of purchased goods and services via proper contracting strategies, enforcing contract compliance and using competitive practices. • New supplier identification and qualification to ensure demand is satisfied and a competitive marketplace exists across all commodities. • Negotiation of contracts with suppliers regarding prices, indemnification, payment terms, and INCOTERMS. • Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures. • Achieve KPI metrics established by the Company. These include (but are not limited to) safety, inventory, supplier quality, in-time delivery, cash flow (payment terms, monthly pay optimization), etc • Work cross-functionally, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing necessary changes. Support business (i.e., rapid problems shooting, quick sourcing decisions, etc). Job requirements: • University Degree with preference in a Technical discipline or Economics. • Experience in Purchasing or Sales. • Fluent English • Experience of working with business contracts, commercial and technical documentation would be a plus.
