us and eu legislation on international economic sanctions (sdn, ssi, etc.). excellent practical knowledge of the best practices of compliance and internal control (coso structure, fcpa resource guide, etc.). basic knowledge of the legislation of kazakhstan applicable to the groupchr(39)s activities (tax, labor, currency, contracts). highly analytical with great attention to detail. good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. ability to shоwreasonable flexibility in the course of communication with management. excellent business correspondence skills. the ability to and corporate investigations is a plus. fluency in written and spoken english is mandatory (c1/c2).what will you do:implementation and administration of the compliance policy developed by external consultants (a top-level international law firm) in the field of combating corruption, money laundering, fraud, business ethics and compliance with economic sanctions imposed by the united states and the eu. identification, assessment and reduction of relevant types of risks in close cooperation with the management team, as well as the legal department, hr department, it and internal control department. due diligence of potential business partners (referred to as the “know your counterparty” procedure) in kazakhstan in order to reduce the risks of non-compliance with applicable legislation, the gda code of conduct and compliance policy (anti-corruption, money laundering, fraud, compliance with us legislation and eu sanctions, prevention of conflicts of interest involving government officials or gda employees).preliminary approval of contracts in kazakhstan via an electronic system in order to reduce the risks of non-compliance with the current legislation, code of conduct and compliance policy (fight against corruption, money laundering, fraud, compliance with us and eu sanctions, prevention of conflicts of interest involving government officials or gda employees). coordination of compliance regulations with business partners in order to protect the company from possible violations of applicable legislation and ethics standards that may be caused by the actions of a business partner. overview of business partners’ policies applicable to the company.prevention of conflicts of interest: conducting an annual campaign to declare and summarize its results, constant identification and analysis of possible conflicts of interest, advising employees on this issue and preliminary screening of candidates for vacant positions. filling out integrity check questionnaires from business partners, responding to requests from external auditors (the big four firm) and shareholder consultants (leading us and uk law firms). education and communication: annual conducting of distance learning courses on compliance issues and summarizing their results. ensuring that all employees are familiar with the latest compliance policies and procedures. resolve the employeechr(39)s concerns about compliance. regular audit of the companychr(39)s operations, procedures, practices and documents to identify possible deficiencies or compliance risks. creation and management of effective action plans in response to facts and violations of legal requirements identified during the audit. administration of the compliance hotline in kazakhstan: processing incoming reports of misconduct, interaction with respondents, conducting internal investigations and providing feedback to respondents. take action in non-compliance situations and develop realistic plans to overcome them.preliminary approval of charitable donations, gifts and representative events in order to reduce the risk of corruption. supervision of compliance with the shareholderschr(39) agreement, i.e. informing shareholders of facts relevant to the gda business, requesting their prior consent to conduct significant operations (for example: large loans or asset disposal, joint ventures, etc.). translation of compliance documents (for example, policies, decrees, questionnaires, etc.) with english into kazakh and russian.participation in the automation of compliance procedures in cooperation with the it team and external suppliers. continuous monitoring of the applicable regulatory environment. compilation and updating of the compliance risk matrix. support of
