Senior Category Manager

Senior Category Manager This role is responsible for analyzing and translating consumer and category data into actionable strategies and solutions to drive profitable sales & market share gains. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Lead and implement category thinking to create strategies & platforms to grow the category; Support Sales Team (Key Accounts, Commercial Strategy, Trade Marketing) and build/maintain advisory relationships with the customer through category reviews and expertise, negotiation campaign, new product launches, and other commercial related projects; Conduct deep-dive market and shopper analytics. Use multiple data sources to develop regular and ad hoc reports to include sales/share reporting, opportunity gap, SKU rationalization, planogram analysis, promotion analysis, item tracking, pricing studies, financial performance, sales and performance trackers; Establish a strong understanding of the customers and shoppers to build shopper-centric plans that deliver our category vision and ambition; Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mainly Sales, Brand Marketing, and Trade Marketing; Develop customized fact-based selling stories leveraging all available data sources. What we are looking for in a candidate for this role: Have a degree in math, economics, finance or marketing; 5+ years of work experience in international FMCG Company (2+ years in category management); Strong Influencing and leadership skills; Strong analytical skills. Solid understanding of the retail business as an advantage; Excellent presentation and communication skills; Has a proven track record of achieving results through Insight to Action, working collaboratively with customers to achieve category growth; Knowledge and experience of working with following data sources: Household Panels (GFK/Romir), Nielsen and alike tools, Ipsos RusIndex (DataFriend) English Upper-Intermediate Knowledge: Microsoft Office – Excel & PowerPoint + PowerBI (optionally) English (upper-intermediate) Analytical skills, communication & presentation skills, learning ability Leadership skills Knowledge of alcohol market Conditions: salary based on the results of the interview; The salary is individually discussed Location: Novoorlovskaya Street, Moscow (subway station Novo-Peredelkino, walking distance) Mobile communication compensation Own parking lot for employees
