Responsibilities: Prepares financial statements in accordance with GAAP, IFRS, tax returns and compliance deliverables (taxes, both internal and external audits) Monitors, prepares the daily fund requests, the weekly cash position, and cash flow forecast, reconciles the cash/bank balances daily (collections and disbursements) Prepares the bank reconciliation, upload and reconcile bank statements in Zoho Handles the daily Accounts Payable transactions (Urgent payment requests, TT requests, payment processing and release, liaison with banks for all fund inquiries and compliance) Handles the onboarding of new vendors and maintains vendor profiles making sure that they are updated Posts vendor invoices and prepares the weekly and periodic vendor reconciliation Closely monitors the AR performance, AR % and customers’ credit standing based on the AOI report weekly to ensure that KPI is met periodically Make daily collection calls with customers and agents and sends customer SOA on a regular basis Work closely with Sales/SST team to monitor outstanding obligations, including monitoring the customer deposit account, and resolve invoice issues with customer within 30 days from date disputes is identified Conducts periodic cash counts, conducts yearly vendor and credit reviews Monitors prepayments, fixed assets, and posts journal entries Performs Intercompany Reconciliation and AP/AR offsetting Handles the monthly job closing and generates the financial reports Ensure that AP/AR/GL/Treasury and all other Finance-related internal controls and POMs are complied with and any deviations are escalated and reported Performs ad-hoc tasks requested by management Requirements: Minimum 3-5 years in general accounting (preferably had an experience in handling AR, AP, GL, Treasury) Knowledge of India Taxation and statutory requirements is a must Must have knowledge in IFRS Accounting Software/ ERP knowledge and experience required (candidate with Zoho experience is preferred) Preferably with experience in setting up the accounting system of a start-up company Preferably with Logistics background Terms: willing to relocate in Dubai, UAE Can communicate in English
