Logistics specialist

Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing order placing, shipments handling, reporting transportation metrics, identifying trends across global transportation methods and practices, providing visibility through projects and tools. Ensures that internal customers’ needs are met, and that company policy and international trade compliance regulations are adhered to. Essential Responsibilities: Facilitate order management - process order intake, input into internal systems Ensure orders validation, compliance and approvals (commercial & technical) before order input Interface with all internal and external customers (Sales, Engineering, Commercial Operations) to assure on time and high quality order fulfilment. Backorder Management Primary contact for global affiliates and internal customers about order processing questions and escalations Set up and monitor standard operation procedures with suppliers; monitor, investigate and report the defects (warehousing, transportation, customs) Overcome road blocks to ensure delivery is made in line with internal and external customers’ requirements Maintain close relationship with Finance and ensure account receivable related corrections and queries are done Work with distributors’ orders and their support Requirements: University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Engineering Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in logistics, engineering or supply chain management Intermediate English Project management, communication and analytical skills Proven ability to work on cross-functional, multi-cultural teams
