компания "керри" general description: logistics specialist is responsible for ensuring the right products are delivered to the right location on time and full, to the quality requred and in the most cost efficient way. oversees the distribution and transportation of goods from the manufacturer to the consumer. key responsibilities: contribute to the creation and implementation of the company best practice logistics vision, strategy, polices, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance; plan, manage and evaluate logistics operations liasing with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies and customers; create and implement best practice logistics principles, polices and processes in order to improve operational and financial performance; organization of customs clearance for inbound deliveries (europe, asia and usa, all means of transport including courier companies, in cooperation with customs broker); processing/adjustment/translation of import documents: commercial, transport and customs documents; plan, book and coordinate trucks for inbound and outbound deliveries; monitor quality, quantity, delivery times and transportation costs; displaying pos and shipment costs in sap; deliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements; negotiate rates and contracts with transportation and customs broker companies; analysis and implementation of optimal transport modes, routes or frequency; regular reporting & analysis. the person: the successful candidate will be from 3 years of experience in fmcg international company intermediate in english excellent information gathering skills: seeks all possible relevant information for problem solving and decision making strong communication and presentation skills both oral and written knowledge of international economic activity, incoterms, sap
