компания "burabay hotel management" full-time, on-site position that requires relocation to shchuchinsk (kazakhstan) position purpose as an it manager the incumbent will be responsible for the day-to-day support of all the planning and implementation of all it and technology systems throughout the hotel. s/he is expected to ensure all systems in use at the property are maintained to a level that delivers the most efficient service for our guests and that they are in compliance with corporate standards of operation. provides support to the users of information systems through direct interaction and through the identification and co-ordination of their ongoing training needs. supervises and administrates all phases of computer and telecommunications operations including planning, installation, training, and maintenance within the hotel. essential functions plans and coordinates new installations of software and hardware within the hotel, reviews hardware and software purchase ensuring new products are in line with corporate standards and remain the focal contact point with vendors (including the terms and due dates of all maintenance contracts covering the hotel software and hardware). conducts compliance audits and prepares a monthly activity report outlining the systems activity of the hotel for distribution to the general manager responsible for the administration and security access control to the local area network. prepares and supervises all backup and restore procedures. provides all users within the hotel with advanced technical support on all aspects of hotel technology. participates in the preparation of the hotel capital plan and departmental budget. ensures that project releases for technical projects are completed as required. performs specific ad-hoc tasks upon requests of supervising executives. supportive functions in addition, this position may be required to perform a combination of various supportive functions, including but not limited to coaching and counselling team members, advising the gm and executive committee of potential it opportunities and threats. candidate profile bachelor degree required. solid knowledge of microsoft operating systems, active directory, gpo, tcp/ip, wlan, hospitality software (opera pms / fidelio, micros), setup network (e.g. cisco) a minimum of 3 years of experience in it support roles (hospitality, operations preferred). minimum of 1-year of supervisory / managerial experience proficient in english and locally-spoken language. must be able to demonstrate: outstanding professional communication and personal presentation, personal initiative, resolve and high energy towards tasks and goals employment terms relocation to shchuchinsk, kazakhstan (full-time, on-site position) housing allowance is provided, relocation is supported meals on duty, laundry & dry cleaning of business attire is provided
