компания "kimep" procurement department is looking for applicants for the following position: job title: procurement manager department: procurement position reports to: head of the procurement department job purpose summary: this position is meant to collaborate with suppliers to set kimep u’s expectations, develop a clear strategy in purchasing goods, to ensure whether kimep u suppliers meet certain standards key responsibilities and duties: discover the most profitable suppliers and initiate business partnerships negotiate with external vendors to secure the most advantageous terms examine and re-evaluate existing contracts collaborate with key persons to ensure the clarity of the specifications and expectations of the departments at kimep u track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness is responsible for ensuring that a company has a very clear strategy when purchasing goods and services to ensure the suppliers are aware of the actual cost in the market to search for the reliable suppliers that could provide a good quality and a reasonable price; to require certain standards like eac, iso from suppliers to work closely with the tender and finance team to understand the budget allocation and the brand requirements; control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients finalize details of orders and deliveries by following up with requested departments maintain the orders and deliveries in a timely manner log in/log out orders in the warehouse. minimum qualifications: higher degree with major in finance, economics, accounting or any other related fields. at least two years’ experience in procurement and budget planning, upper intermediate english language proficiency, fluent russian and kazakh language skills are highly required. pc, budgeting and stock market knowledge, and communicative, strong organization skills are required. preferred qualifications: mba, masters in economics will be asset. deadline for submission of applications/resumes is may 5, 2022 inclusive or open until filled
