компания "deutsche gesellschaft fuer internationale zusammenarbeit giz" the deutsche gesellschaft für internationale zusammenarbeit (giz) gmbh is searching for it specialist.responsibilities: it specialist is responsible for:• ensuring the correct functioning of the hardware and software components of the information infrastructure in the organization• implementation and compliance with it standards, rules and guidelines of giz• providing comprehensive support to departments and projects by solving issues and problems related to itduties:hardware• control the availability of modern equipment (laptops, servers, pcs and lan components) in accordance with corporate standards• monitor the condition of equipment and hardware components of the system• discuss possible new purchases or improvements of equipment and networks with direct/project manager based on the requirements and recommendations outlined in the requirements• configure and install purchased or relocated equipment, including:-installation of equipment in the place required by the user-equipment connection-checking the correctness of its work-and providing users with a brief instruction manual-decommissioning of unnecessary equipment• advise projects in the formation of applications for the purchase of office equipment• accompanies the verification of supplierschr(39) documents for compliance with the specifications specified in the tender documentationsoftware• implement, maintain and configure standard software (ms windows, ms office, winpaccs, sap, etc.)• test new or updated software and monitors the use of current software versions• configure and controls backup processes to ensure data availability and safety• configure and regularly checks anti-virus softwareother• manage and provides general administration of the entire it system chr(40)including ip telephonychr(41) in the country• anticipate the security of digital data• notify the central it help desk of fundamental problems with it applications.• maintain an up-to-date list of all hardware and software components of the it organization in the country• document the installation and configuration of the main components of the system and the equipment used• conduct general training of employees on it tools• implement digital processes and tools in accordance with the organizationchr(39)s digitalization plans qualification, experience and competencies:• university degree in information technologies or relevant field• excellent working knowledge of itc technologies (popular software, email, internet access) and computer applications (eg ms office)• at least 3 year of work experience in a similar position• good knowledge of english, russian languages (knowledge of german is a plus)• willingness to improve qualifications in accordance with the tasks performed, the desire to comprehend new knowledge in the field of it• communicative skills, good team player• analytical thinking and problem awareness• ability to work with high volume of information
