компания "ge (general electric company)" the general electric company (ge) is an american multinational company. for more than 125 years, ge has invented the future of industry. today, ge is best known for its work in the power, renewable energy, aviation and healthcare industries. our equipment and solutions are deployed in more than 64,000 commercial and military aircraft (including ge and its joint venture partners), 45,000 onshore wind turbines, 7,700 gas turbines, and more than four million healthcare installations. gechr(39)s purpose is “we rise to the challenge of building a world that works.” responsibilities: accurately and timely perform all related to ap transactions general accounting activities based on ras and us gaap in the business general ledgers. ensure transactions are done in erp system before sl cut-off, journals are booked in compliance with above same. manage and perform month end gaap and stat close activities and ensure submission within deadlines. ensure timely and defect-free account reconciliations according to gaap and stat rules. prepare internal reports by requests. proactively review processes vs oracle payables system to ensure compliance to prepare for audits; work with internal/external audit to support local vat, statutory and tax compliance drive system changes. provide full support of uat ap process and serve as quality controller for acceptance of innovations into live. support launch of ap changes during control period audit support: tax authorities’ audits (desk and field audits), stat audit. other gaap and stat related duties\requests as assigned. provide support to businesses on relevant issues; build and maintain strong working relationships with the local ge businesses. effectively support various ge teams with data requests. the successful candidate possesses: finance/accounting degree or equivalent. minimum 3 years of experience in accounting with russian accounting standards and knowledge of us gaap, or clear commitment and willingness to learn us gaap strong it and financial system skills: proficient in ms office, xl in particular, oracle or sap as advantage. intermediate or above english skills, both oral and written. strong time management and multitasking skills. self-starter, result- oriented person with ability to work under pressure. desire to grow and develop a finance career. conditions: competitive salary - to be discussed individually hybrid mode (partially from home/partially from office located in moscow-city) medical insurance meal allowance additional days to standard annual leave corporate discount program employee assistance program flexible start and finish times
