компания "hilton tashkent city hotel" summary oversee and implement all sales activities for a specific area of responsibility or market segment(s), including developing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts and implementation of sales strategies. this position reports to the senior sales manager. “we are hilton. we are hospitality.” hilton hotels & resorts is hiltonchr(39)s flagship brand and one of the largest hotel brands in the world. the brand is targeted at both business and leisure travelers with locations in major city centers, near airports, convention centers, and popular vacation destinations around the world. the line was founded in 1919 by conrad hilton. as of 2017, there were more than 570 hilton hotels & resorts properties in 85 countries and territories across six continents. properties are either owned by, managed by, or franchised to independent operators by hilton. core work activities sell hotel room nights through direct client contact; maintain a high level of visibility for the hotel in major market areas through direct sales solicitation; telephone contacts and written communication achieve personal and team sales goals as assigned implement hotel-level tactical sales plans as assigned to achieve greater profitability through increasing average rates, increasing overall occupancy, increasing business volume during off-peak periods, and enhancing the image of the hotel in the local community develop and maintain good relationships with representatives of local community groups and companies, and attend conventions and trade shows, to promote new business and increase sales for the hotel produce reports and sales forecasts for assigned area of responsibility actively participate in forecasting and goal setting. participate in the annual budget process, and development of sales and marketing plans promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments. review the daily business levels, anticipate critical situations, and plan effective solutions in conjunction with other departments to best expedite these situations interact with outside contacts may coordinate business group activities at the hotel and work closely with other departments to facilitate services agreed upon by the sales office and prospective clients ability to communicate, both verbally and written, effectively with guests, vendors and co-workers. strong microsoft office skills with an emphasis on word and excel o perform other duties as assigned requirements: bachelor’s degree in sales & marketing or related field, and 4 years total experience working with a large or a variety of market segments, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a hospitality or hotel sales and marketing setting. must speak fluent english. other languages preferred. our vision, mission and values: our vision is to fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality. besides, our mission is to be the first choice of guests, team members, and owners alike and see below our values. hospitality: wechr(39)re passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences. integrity: we do the right thing, all the time. leadership: wechr(39)re leaders in our industry and in our communities. teamwork: wechr(39)re team players in everything we do. ownership: wechr(39)re the owners of our actions and decisions. now: we operate with a sense of urgency and discipline. at hilton we believe in the importance of leadership at all levels. we expect our people to embrace and live by our purpose by challenging themselves to identify issues that are most important for our clients, our people, and for society, and make an impact that matters. we thank all applicants in advance for their interest; however, only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
